As I spent more time in the city, whether it was working with the locals and making and delivering stoves, or making afternoon trips to the markets, I began to appreciate the country and foreign places as a whole more; it really is eye-opening to have an experience like that.

It’s been quite a whirlwind of visits, dinners, early mornings and lots of driving. For me, it’s been a perfect introduction to what my job will entail – boosting sales of factories and helping more communities, but also understanding the mechanics of each partner and looking for solutions to problems as they arise.
