Evaluate the Market

The Ecocina, when built to StoveTeam International standards, is one of the most efficient rocket stoves available. Its advanced combustion design also allows alternative fuels to be used in place of wood. It's small, portable, and uses local materials and labor. With all costs taken into consideration a sustainable factory can sell Ecocina stoves for $40-$50 USD, depending on the country.

It is the responsibility of the factory owner/developer to evaluate the market in which these stoves will be sold to determine if a factory is appropriate for the determined location. We have found that a factory must produce 250-300 stoves/month in order to be self-sustaining.

If there is already a factory producing Ecocina stoves (http://www.stoveteam.org/locations) in the area you wish to work, please contact that factory directly.
